Smudging Feather with Rose Quartz & Turquoise
Smudging Feather with Rose Quartz & Turquoise
Beautiful handmade smudging feather created in a sacred way by Linda Culpin. The feathers are collected from live birds. No birds are harmed.
The feathers are pheasant, peacock and parrot, with rose quartz and turquoise on the handle.
Linda was taught to create these special medicine tools by Tom “Grey Elk” Rael.
Each and every piece is totally unique. The feathers are chosen for their special energetic properties and the handles created to complement. Each handle is unique. Some may be similar but none are exactly the same.
As you smudge, these beautiful feathers gently help to send your prayers high. Linda suggests that you choose the feather by intuition rather than by intellect, allowing ourselves to be guided to the ‘right one’, as we choose crystals.
Linda was taught how to create medicine tools by Tom" Grey Elk" Rael a Picaris Peublo native American living in Denver. She met Tom in 2008 when visiting America. She spent time helping Tom with his artwork and working the metaphysical shows with him. They travelled over many states for shows and to visit various shops he supplied. He gave her permission to continue creating these pieces and to share the traditions he had taught her.

Smudging is a ritual cleansing practiced in many cultures. Various medicine plants such as sage, cedar, lavender, frankincense are burned to create a fragrant cleansing smoke or smudge. We smudge ourselves to clear negative emotions, thoughts and feelings and smudge places to clear negative energies. As the smoke rises, our prayers rise to the Spirit World and to the Creator.
This lovely White Sage – Salvia Apiana – is a powerful cleansing herb with a beautiful fragrance. Use your hands or a feather to direct the smoke.
Please make sure you extinguish it fully after use in a suitable shell or fireproof bowl.
