Please note that Calcite is rather difficult to shape and polish to a point. Some edges and corners may not be entirely smooth.
These wands are our 'standard stock' and we usually have several available. They are handpicked and all pass Sue's quality test, but since they are natural stones there will be some variation in appearance. You may not receive the item in the photograph.
All Calcite is clearing and releasing. Orange calcite clears and heals wounded sexuality, is very nurturing, increases creativity, confidence & self-worth.
Although Calcite works at deep and profound levels, it ‘comes in gently’ and can be easier to work with than some other minerals.
Calcite is a soft mineral, and is seldom made into jewellery. It is easily scratched by other crystals and coins in purses and pockets, so you need to treat it with care and cleanse using smudging or sound.
