African Jade isn’t actually Jade at all, though it can look a lot like Nephrite Jade. It is either a type of massive, opaque, grossular Garnet or a green Serpentine that is found in South Africa and Zimbabwe. It is also known as Transvaal Jade or Buddstone.
It is found in various shades of rich green and has a lovely, rich, healing energy.
