Rose Petal Jasper is a new stone to us. It has a very dark background – black with a greenish tinge – with petal like markings in pale pinkish cream.

We bought the first pieces just a short while ago and I attuned to it today for the first time. It has an interesting energy, being a combination of Air and Earth. It is grounding, protective and nurturing but it also has a light, airy quality. I believe it will be a good stone to aid meditation – to maintain stability while helping to release the thoughts that come with ease, rather than becoming attached to them. I think it will also help with release at a mind/mental level, aiding the release of rigid beliefs and limiting thought patterns.
