These smoothstones are our 'standard stock' and we usually have several available. They are handpicked and all pass Sue's quality test, but since they are natural stones there will be some variation in appearance. You may not receive the item in the photograph.
Preseli Bluestone is a dolerite rock found in the Preseli Mountains in Pembrokeshire, Wales. It is probably most well known as the stone that forms the inner circle at Stonehenge. Amazingly, 5,000 years ago, these huge stones were moved the 200 miles from West Wales to Salisbury Plain.
These stones have both a powerful grounding quality (Earth Star) and the ability to help us develop and focus our intuition (Third Eye and Alta Major) and inter-dimensional awareness (Crown and higher chakras). For a long time I have felt that the key to unlocking the ancient mysteries of this beautiful land of ours lies in the hills of West Wales. This is not because Wales is a ‘Celtic Land’. These mysteries are much, much older than the arrival of the Celtic peoples to these islands.
