Healer’s Gold is the trade name for a combination of Pyrite and Magnetite. It is powerfully aligning and balancing, working on all the subtle bodies and chakras on all levels. It is often said to be protective. To me, protection is a natural effect of being in balance.

Magnetite is an iron mineral that forms octahedral crystals (isometric system). It is powerfully aligning and balancing, working on all the subtle bodies and chakras on all levels. It brings balance, whether extra energy or sedation is required. It is good for inflammation. Aches and pains. When out of balance, holding a piece of Magnetite, or a piece in each hand, can help us to bring our energy frequency into resonance with that of the Earth.

When I meditate with Magnetite I have the sensation of sitting within a pyramid of energy, with a wide base on the Earth. This energetic shape is reflected deep within the Earth, mimicking the octahedral shape of the crystals.

It can be very useful following shock or stress and a great help for those who resist being fully embodied.

Some Magnetite is naturally magnetised and is called Lodestone.

Pyrite is a powerfully creative stone that combines the energies of Earth and Fire. It brings the spark of inspiration and helps to ground that into 3D reality.

When I meditate with Pyrite I witness a bright spark of energy that is awakening and inspiring. It increases power, positive energy and action to bring inspiration into manifestation. Many people say that Pyrite is grounding. This may be because it is heavy, being an iron mineral. I would not definitely not choose Pyrite for grounding. There are many crystals that are much more effective at grounding.

Along with Hematite, Magnetite and Pyrite are all Iron based. I’m not particularly attracted to any of them – of the three, my favourite is Magnetite. However, I absolutely love this combination. Just holding it for a few minutes has a powerfully balancing impact on my energy.
