Sphalerite is relatively new to us. It is Zinc Sulphide and is quite soft – 3.5 to 4on the Mohs scale.

When I’ve read about Sphalerite, I see that it is described as strongly grounding and working with the base and earth star chakras. This is really only a part of my experience. While it does have some earthy qualities that could bring strength and resilience, it is also quite fiery. I find it stimulating, exciting, inspiring, creative. I would use to stretch the imagination; to come up with creative solutions to challenges; to have confidence to bring new ideas forward.
