Tumblestones or tumbled stones have been tumbled with grit in a large tumbling machine to create a polished surface that is pleasant to hold and is also good for reflecting the colour of the stone. They are a great, inexpensive way to get to know crystals and to start building your collection. They are also perfect tools for healing and gridmaking.
If you purchase a pair or grid set, each is individually handpicked with great care for balance and coherence. If you order multiple singles, we cannot always guarantee to have enough stock to make up a balanced pair or set, but we will do our best.
These tumblestones are our 'standard stock' and we usually have many available. They all pass Sue's quality test, but since they are natural stones there will be some variation in appearance. You may not receive the item in the photograph.
In our experience, Black Tourmaline is the most effective crystal for protection. It protects the energy field from all unwanted influences. Wear it as jewellery or carry a piece in your pocket or purse when you go into challenging situations.
Black Tourmaline can also help to ground your own negative emotions and thoughtforms, so it is ideal to use if you are angry, anxious, or feeling low due to internal criticism. It can also be very helpful following travel, to ground you into the new place you find yourself in.
Please note: Black Tourmaline tumblestones are often not completely smooth, and retain some of the roughness of the original crystal. If you look closely at the photograph you can see this.
