Afghanite is a rare, bright blue mineral from Afghanistan that is very similar to Lazurite - one of the components of Lapis Lazuli. Energetically, I find it much smoother and less intense than Lapis Lazuli.

Lapis Lazuli takes me deep inside myself. Afghanite is much more expansive - more like Sodalite in a way - but much gentler and with a sweetness. It is calming and soothing but also expands awareness and helps us to see things in new ways.
