I first bought fossilised sea urchins because I was first attracted by the pattern of 5, and thought one would be very useful in 5-fold grids. Then I started to think about the medicine of Sea Urchin. I recall being very attracted to their shells when I was a young girl living in Gibraltar. They are delicate and pretty, with an array of pastel colours.

But you absolutely do not want to encounter the spines of a living Sea Urchins. So I thought that they might be a good energy for now, when we need to be fiercely discerning of all the lies and manipulation that we are constantly being fed! We need to hold on to that which is beautiful and true, protect that which is precious and fend off, with great fierceness, all the crappy lies and pretence.
