Lovely dark K2 type pebble - Azurite in matrix. This is the same mineral as the K2 stone, but as it is not mined from the same location, it cannot actually be classed as a K2 stone.
It measures approximately 55mm x 40mm.

K2 is a granite stone, mainly white, with blue pieces of Azurite and occasionally green pieces of Malachite with Quartz, Feldspar and Mica. It is named for the K2 mountain in the Karakoram Range in Pakistan near the border with China. It is sometimes referred to as Jasper, but it isn’t a Jasper.
Azurite is vivid azure blue copper mineral that is deeply clearing on mental levels, releasing old patterns and creating space for inner vision and spiritual insight. It can help us to gain distance and perspective when emotions are overwhelming.
Although Granite is frequently grounding, this combination of Azurite with white Granite has a surprisingly high frequency.
