'Master Shamanite' is one of those stones that has been up-marketed - a mineral that is not particularly desirable is given a new 'sexy' or 'spiritual' name to create a desire for it and hike the price up.

Those of you who know me (and now some who don't!) know that I am very sceptical of this practice. However, sometimes I come across one of these hyped up stones that I really like - and this is one.

When I come across something 'new', unless it is obviously coloured glass or has been tampered with, I tend to buy one or two, and attune before making up my mind. I love this!

So what is it? It is a mix of all sorts, including carbon and calcite and lots more.

Why do Iike it? It takes me to a deep place/to the void - rather like Black Obsidian but in a softer, slower way, enabling a gentler, but no less powerful, journey. This is the place of nothing, of everything, where we step away from illusion, including the ego self, to just Be, in stillness, all One.

You can look it up if you like, but what you will find online (mostly) is copies of copies of copies of earlier descriptions that now appear as 'facts'.
