Beta Quartz is a very rare type of Quartz that is formed in very high temperature rich volcanic rocks that cool very quickly. The result is small, bipyramidal crystals with very short, or even absent, prism faces.

At first glance, these tiny crystals can be overlooked, though the shape is interesting and this certainly attracted me. It soon becomes apparent, however, that these unassuming little Beings are real powerhouses. To me, the feeling is one of ‘blasting open’ the mind and clearing any limiting thoughts or beliefs so we can access knowledge and information from our higher self, from our ancestors, from other higher forms of intelligence, etc. It can support shamanic journeying and divination by helping us to be pure and clear about the mission and to understand the messages received.
I have seen that they have been called the ‘DNA crystal’ and they are considered to ‘retune the DNA’, support and strengthen healthy cell formation and support the treatment of infectious diseases.
